3059 Pryor (1981 EF23) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 3, 1981 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring. It is named for American astronomer Tad Pryor in honor of his participation in the Palomar Planet-Crossing Asteroid Survey when he was as an undergraduate student at Caltech.
